About Captain Ryan

Q: What do you do?
A: I’m a 200 Ton US Coat Guard Captain that has been maintaining and operating pleasure yachts in south Florida for the last 10 years.

Q: How did you get your start?
A: I grew up on my grandfathers boat in Fort Lauderdale and in the Bahamas. People used to be surprised how competent I was operating his boat as a 12 year old but I had enough rough seas and varnish experience from such a young age, I knew I wanted to be on bigger boats.

Q: How do you find your clients?
A: A lot of my clients are referred to me by brokers that want me to do a great job supporting their customers and from the referrals of other owners. I don’t upcharge or play games which allows me to have a very efficient and mutually beneficial relationship with my clients.
